It seems that a lot of people are questioning whether article marketing as a lead generation tool is “dying”.

Every discipline that involves expo of information can be seen as a particular knowledge system that is a component of a more general knowledge system and article marketing is one of them. Each of these disciplines needs not to be taken for granted for one contributes to the further enhancement of the other.

Article marketing is a type of advertising in which businesses write short articles related to their respective industry. These articles are made available for distribution and publication in the marketplace. It is through article marketing that people from all over the globe connect and support one another on their specified industry.

It’s quite bizarre that people think article marketing is dying. Newspapers still publish articles. All the big news sites are still delivering news. The blogosphere is still growing and ezines is still one of the best marketing tools.

In fact article marketing offers great benefits or advantages, since it’s the most successfully used form of online marketing ever. It is through this market where people promote their sites, sell products, contribute to global issues, relay significant information, and interact easily to the target consumer of one’s industry anywhere in the world.

Nowadays, people have become really cautious when it comes to spending money online and buying something. They want to be first sure that it is worth it and then go ahead with it. In this line, article marketing will help an entrepreneur build rapport with its prospects because they are learning from the article. And such article is the perfect place to start pre-selling to target prospects; they are already interested in the topic and want to hear further suggestions. It is through this strategy that a person who searched for the keywords that made a specific article appears that would most likely suit the demand of the one searching. Even before the reader clicks through the website to check out a product, he/she is mentally prepared to learn more about it, and maybe even buy it!

The truth is article marketing is not dead. Moreover, it is even widely spreading. It doesn’t need to be competed with other online markets for it is also a solid market on its own.

Remember, article marketing is about getting the right messages to as many targeted prospects as possible in as many ways as possible.
